The wine is young but aging nicely, as evidenced by the well-expressed tertiary aromas. Best served as an aperitif, in flutes so that the distinctive salmon colour can be admired with the fine mousse. Gourmet Rosé is at its best chilled to 6°C, with veal, fish, shellfish and fresh cheeses.
Made from a base wine of chardonnay and rumeni plavec, with at least three years of aging on lees. It is only produced in the best years, and in limited volumes. Was awarded a gold medal at the international wine fair in Verona in 1998.
The style is created by the use of chardonnay, rumeni plavec and beli pinot, and at least two years of aging on lees. It makes a delightful and refreshing end to any golf or tennis party. Golf should be served chilled to 6°C, alongside fish, poultry or veal. It also makes an excellent aperitif.
It is made by the traditional method of secondary fermentation, but with an alcohol content of just 10%. Aimed above all at family celebrations, it goes very well with peaches or tea biscuits.
Usually demi sec or dry, it is made from laški rizling, chardonnay and rumeni plavec, and spends at least 18 months on lees.
